Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie has enjoyed a nice offseason, as after the Raiders made the postseason for the first time in over a decade last season he has made some additions to help put them over the top.

A lot of the Raiders offseason acquisitions have come at the offensive skilled positions, as they signed free agent wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson and tight end Jared Cook to contracts.

McKenzie was then able to convince retired running back Marshawn Lynch to return and play for his hometown Raiders, as a deal was completed with the Seattle Seahawks to bring him to Oakland.

While it looks like the team may be complete on the offensive side of the ball, and the players are beginning to get acquainted at OTAs, McKenzie may not be done working his magic as it appears the team may have slight interest in free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, via Joe Arrigo of FOX5 in Las Vegas:

Maclin played the last two seasons with the division rival Kansas City Chiefs, but he was released this past week to create cap space.

If the Raiders were to sign him he would likely slide into the slot receiver position that Seth Roberts has occupied the last two seasons.

Maclin had the worst season of his career last year, as in 12 games he caught 44 passes for 536 yards and two touchdowns. He had two 1,000-yard seasons in a row before that, with the first one coming with the Philadelphia Eagles when he had 85 catches for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns, being named to his only Pro Bowl.
