The Raiders welcomed the Denver Broncos and their new starting quarterback in a Week 15 matchup. Tim Tebow was making his first career start and the Raiders were making a playoff push.

The offense used a few big plays to defeat the Broncos by a score of 39-23. The scoring started off with a 71-yard rushing touchdown on an end around to wide receiver Jacoby Ford. Michael Bush had two rushing touchdowns and 24 yards, while Darren McFadden had 119 yards on 20 carries. Marcel Reece had a 73-yard pass from Jason Campbell in the fourth quarter to help the effort.

On defense, the Raiders recorded two total sacks and a fumble to hold the Broncos. Matt Shaughnessy had 1.5 sacks and Tommy Kelly had 0.5 sack. They held the Broncos to just 235 total yards and just three points in the fourth quarter. Quentin Groves recorded a safety by tackling Corell Buckhalter in his own end zone. Kicker Sebastian Janikowski added three field goals for the rest of the offense.

That season, the Raiders finished 8-8 and failed to make the playoffs.
