The Los Angeles Raiders took on the Los Angeles Rams at Anaheim Stadium in the regular-season finale on Monday Night Football. Both teams came in at 11-4 and were heading to the playoffs.

The Raiders used a balanced offense and a strong defensive effort to earn a 16-6 victory. Running back Marcus Allen ran for 123 yards and Dokie Williams had a 21-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Marc Wilson to lead the way. Wilson finished the day with 188 yards and the score. Kicker Chris Bahr had three field goals to give the Raiders a majority of their points. He made kicks of 27, 52 and 29 yards and made his only PAT.

On defense, the Raiders had six sacks and forced a fumble to hold the Rams to just six points. Greg Townsend and Mitch Willis each had a pair of sacks, while Rod Martin and Reggie McKenzie each had a sack apiece. The defense held the Rams to just 220 total yards and no touchdowns.

That year, the Raiders finished 12-4 and lost to the New England Patriots in the divisional playoffs.
